I guess looks are deceiving hor? Anyway congratulations to the 1st and 2nd placers Ashreen & Idayu!! I personally can't wait to see them at the concert :)

Hey everyone! :)

Sooo it's been pretty long since I last updated. I would say it's been a pretty emotional time for me. After promos I went crazy and played hard, then after getting back our results I immediately went into emo mood + lots of comfort food with my 11. Everything just went downhill from there I guess. Wanted to vent all my sorrows and frustrations over here but somehow I just felt like escaping everything. Been spending most of my time watching dramas on Funshion, it really helps get my mind off things btw!! Immersed myself with catching up on Gossip Girl / Glee / The Vampire Diaries / Teen Wolf / Hellcats to escape from my harsh reality. I feel like I've really grown up a lot over the past few weeks (emotionally, I mean). It has made me really think about my future & at the same time, I realized who all my true friends were. Was really heartwarming to know how much people actually care about me aww! So wanna thank all you people out there who have supported me through this period of tough time, you guys know you are :')

Now that I'm feeling a lot less suicidal compared to a few weeks ago, I hope I'll continue updating regularly!!! Went out shopping with my Cow Family babes right after Promos, and I had friends come over to play XBOX Kinect with me too hehe! Fun times, fun times ~ Other than that it's just been hell loads of PW and drama watching for me, nothing special lololol. Noticed that my blog hits went up by hell loads ever since my post on The Wanted heheh, I know all of you are waiting for Part 2 but don't worry it'll come ... soon! I promise!!! x

Out of all the dramas I've been spamming, Hellcats has got to be one of my hot favorites!!! Next in line would be Vampire Diaries but since that show's still on-going I don't really have much to complain right heh. But Hellcats!!! Gosh I was so shocked to find out there wasn't a Season 2 man I mean like WTF there are still issues unresolved in the plot how can they just end like that?!? :( So disappointed with The CW luh, at least give them another season to finish up the plot argh!!! Feeling super hungover now lololol the male & female leads are all so attractive (I don't know why but I'm most attracted to the oldest one who's the hot law professor hehehe)

In other news, clumsy me fell down while getting off an old SBS bus last Saturday and suffered open wounds on my left elbow and right shin and fractured my left feet. But that's not the best part! Careless me apparently didn't learn her mistake and once again, fell down while walking down Jieyu's stairs and this time, fractured my right foot so guess what! Now both of them are bandaged and I look like a moron -.-

Sigh why am I such an accident prone :'(

Really gotta emphasize on how I touched I am by everyone who's showed so much concern for me, whether it's regarding my academics or my injuries (LOL) or my well-being :')

Don't know what I would do without all my friends!!! Alright I'll go watch some 90210 now, The Wanted Part 2 post coming up soon!!! Nights y'all :-)

I WENT ON A HOT DATE W THE WANTED BOYS YESTERDAY!!! ♥

Was pretty crazy bout winning it so on Thursday I got like around 15 of my friends to text in to 91.3FM and guess what? XIN YI WON IT GOSH!!!!!! FOREVER INDEBTED TO HER MANNN (Y) Winner could take a friend along so she was supposed to take me but she can't make it so I went in her place and brought Amy along! :-)
(Gonna be a really detailed post cos I don't wanna forget a single thing 8D)

Me and Amy were already damn excited the day before ROFL so rare to see her so excited like that sia HAHA! Bathed in school then cabbed down to Marina Square! We wanted to get them a mini fan each cos we were thinking the other 2 winners confirm got buy presents one lol but we couldn't find!! So too bad aww felt damn bad afterwards :/

Walked over to Mandarin Oriental where we were supposed to meet. Saw Nathan walking out when we reached then we both freaked out and quickly ran inside LOLOLOL! Met the other winners and we were talking when Sarah from Universal Music told us to follow her out into the boy's bus and we totally went "WHAT?!?" ROFL We all kept thinking we were just gonna go to some room and spend 1 hour there w the boys but apparently they had something else planned for us!!! Totally felt #likeaboss when we walked out cos there were so many fans there and they were all looking and pointing at us HEHE

Amy and I sat on the one person seat first but then decided to switch infront LOL then while I was still walking towards my new seat Nathan came on! Max, Jay and Siva came on soon after entertaining the fans outside and then Sarah and the 91.3FM came on board and we were off to our secret location! :D Talked to Siva a lot on the way there hahaha he's so hilarious! Called Reena & Rinna to let them talk to Siva and Nathan too and they totally went crazy gosh ROFL I could hear them screaming even without speaker!! Very happy for them though :)
BTW, I ASKED SIVA TO GUESS WHAT RACE I AM THEN HE ASKED MIXED HEHE! THEN HE ASKED ME WHAT MIX AM I AND THEN SAID THAT I LOOK BEAUTIFUL!!! :')

Secret location turned out to be a studio @ Holland Village! Apparently we're gonna do a PHOTOSHOOT with the boys gosh!!! Then we all got very excited LOL at first I think all of us were still kind of starstruck then we didn't really dare to play with them but then halfway through the photoshoot we all got comfortable with one another then it got really fun! Halfway through when it was just the boys alone me & Edwina decided to photo-bomb them TEEHEE everyone had a good laugh after that :D Tried to persuade Tom to let me try his Tiger Beer to no avail pfft!

It wasn't so we came up but after awhile it came back woots! So after getting on the bus we dropped off the 91.3FM crew at Raffles City then cruised along the F1 circuit (the boys loved it they got damn excited about it hehe) then headed back to their hotel. It was my first time actually appreciating a traffic jam cos we were supposed to end at 7PM but due to the jam ... we had an extra half an hour with them ;) Our bus ride back was filled with lots of signing and drawing of autographs, a lot more camwhoring and loads of talking!! Me and Amy went to sit with Max & Tom at the back which was pretty fun, chatted loads with them rofl Max is really funny!! Will post up our funny convos in part 2 after promos, for now just make do with some pix from the busride back :-)

YESSS GP IS OVER FUCKYEAH!!! (Y)

I did question 6, the celebrity and was feeling really happy cos finally there's a question that I can actually blabber on and on about. Not so confident though because when I get excited ... I tend to spout rubbish too :/ Was thinking bout how I could have ended my conclusion better but sigh what to do when I started my essay @ 10 AM which leaves me only an hour left to write my essay and omgz I couldn't believe I finished my essay just on time!!! I swear man, so proud of myself :') Completed my GP Essay within an hour when I looked up at the clock it was 10:59:50 LOL usually when there's 5 minutes left I'll be like oh shit then abruptly scribble a conclusion. So anyway mixed feelings bout GP, really hope I didn't get too excited and write irrelevant stuffs :/

It really sucks that after GP it felt like holiday already and up till now, I still don't have the mood to do work (especially after not wining those 91.3FM tix argh) and I've got like bloody loads of stuff to do!!! Somebody just shoot me now please :( Totally no mood at all, not a single bit!! How now brown cow???

Just some funny exam shit to cheer myself (and hopefully the rest of you out there) up teehee if only my Chem Promos could be like that!!! Now 5C11 has gotten over our Pandadog craze and have picked up on the Kartrider craze whoohoo! You should totally see us all in action, gosh the amount of vulgarities that we spout ... Okay fine the amount of vulgarities that I spout ROFL, may upload a vid next time lololol.

Study study study until dieee~

So just like that, the September holidays are over. GP Promo is just 4 days away and my first H2 paper will be approx 11 days. Am I prepared?? FUCKING NO!\

I've really been trying hard to study this holidays and to a certain extent, I really did study but it's just not enough!! I'm so bloody pissed with myself for wasting like, 2 or 3 days??? I can't stand the way I'm so ill-disciplined. I just can't control myself, once I on the com & the internet, time just fly by so quickly and it's so annoying because I really do restrict myself from using the com but when I really need to use it my whole day is gone :((( Why does time fly past so quickly when I'm actually studying??? It just seems like there's never enough time for me :( K shit I feel so damn depressed now. School starts tomorrow and all I want is to stay home till the start of my exams because despite all the above, studying at home is still the most productive (when I don't on my laptop) Arghhh I know I can do it but why do I give up so easily, why am I so easily distracted with everything that's going on around me???

People all think I'm okay just because there's a big smile on my face every single day but once people are not around me that smile immediately disappears, I'm so fucking scared of being retained I really don't want to!!! I know it looks like I don't really care and I'm not trying but right now? I really am. Sigh now I just feel so down and angry and depressed with myself, I wish somebody will just shoot me died right now. My mood swings are getting worse everyday, I really don't want to go to school tomorrow :(((

Don't you just wish to die and go to heaven for awhile just to get rid of all the shit that's happening around you??? That's how I feel every single day now. FML :(

THE GLEE PROJECT!!!

Oh yayness I just tested the email blogging thing and it works!!! Yesss now lazy me no need to upload pix 2 times :D The only problem though is that I can't really format my posts ... so everything will be like to the left side and the words will all be together I think :O But aiya, as long as I got post more that's good already right hahaha k nights!

So this is gonna be a real short post but I just watched the last episode of The Glee Project just now while having dinner and boy am I filled w so much emotions I'm exploding!!!

Not gonna be long-winded & talk about every single episode but gosh I JUST LOVE THIS SHOW SO MUCH!!! It's just so real and authentic, none of those kind of fake fights or anything and I think that's what makes it so relatable to, just like Glee ^^ Gotta thank all the contestants for giving me so many hilarious moments teehee but I think all of them are so talented I can just imagine every single one of them on GLEE already!

I really like almost every single one of them man the ones who don't really stand out to me are probably only Ellis and Mckynleigh but the rest ... Love'em all!!!

But my favorites were CAMERON & DAMIAN!!! :-)

The 2 of them so cute ahaha I can't get enough of them mannn kekeke! K maybe I'll fangirl more bout this in the future but for now ... it's back to mugging my ass off -.-

Really happy with myself cos I finally finished my Math Notes!!! Took me about a day and a half to complete and I really wanted to give up halfway after realizing how much content there is but I think I'm glad I followed through with my intentions. I really think it'll benefit me in the long run, I mean like now I have 10 chapters worth of math condensed into just 20 pages!!! Besides, while typing I really read through every single thing I guess I can safely say that I've "revised" for Math, tomorrow I'll start doing the practice papers and time myself. I feel like I haven't done much this holiday basically cos I've been focusing my time on Math I guess? Gosh why is it so time-consuming :( I'm taking so long to revise my stuffs how am I gonna finish revision in time for promos?!?

Wanted to go on a hiatus here but then I realized this place's probably the only thing that would keep me sane so ... I guess I'll just continue posting my feelings here. Activated some email setting on Blogger, hopefully that would let me blog from my iPhone then I no need to upload pix on flickr woots :-)

Missing my Mama Shark & her 11 Baby Sharks ~

So the September Holidays have just started.

I'm quite pleased with what I have accomplished this week, which further proves my point that I'm a lot more productive when I don't leave the home at all; Improves my efficiency by up to 50% trololol. Really wanna make the most of this week to further catch up on all the shit that I've sort of neglected ... Oh man there's so much content I don't even know whether I can finish revising everything :( Fucking scared for GP cos from my previous week's test results, I missed the E mark by just 1. bloody. mark -.- That's the worse kind of feeling sia, the "so-close-yet-so-far" feeling. I really do not want to retain all because I can't pass GP :(

Just some of my personal views regarding the Presidential Elections.

I'm not going to rant all about TT here because he is afterall our newly elected President. But I just wanna say that I was a full TCB support all the way k. I personally feel that he's the best man for the job because he's not really pro-PAP or pro-Opposition per say. He's more of the neutral man I guess. & Reading some of the stuffs that he pledged to do for Singapore really made me want to vote for him (if I could) because those are really areas in which Singapore can improve in. The main point is that all those who voted for TJS or worse, TKL (those are the ones who should go screw themselves) should be regretting deeply now because what's the point of voting the opposition solely cos you do not like PAP? You know that at this stage TJS can never draw in enough votes to win so obviously the best strategy would be to vote for TCB right, like that everybody will be happy -.- Aiya whatever, that's just my own view lah haha. Oh & don't you think TCB has a much more humble look then TT??? :-)

Btw, I had a very fairytale-like moment last Sunday!!! Hehehe this is so exciting, must share must share ^^

K so I just finished tuition @ Aspen & was waiting for Daddy to come pick me so I decided to go look at some books at Borders. Of course, me being me, accidentally knocked down some books from the shelves so I immediately bent down to pick up as many as I can (cos y'know, v embarrassing sia lol) and while picking, somebody bent down to help me! So of course one's natural instinct would be to look up & say Thank You right so yeah I did that, and stared straight into the eyes of a really cute guy LOL. The best part was we remained that way for a about 3 seconds?? Which actually felt like forever hahaha and in my head I was like thinking "Omgz so fairytale!" and didn't really know what to do so I quickly put back the books and ran away -.-

Sian should have stayed and maybe talked to him right HAHA

Yes, me & Yi Jia were just discussing the other day about how embarrassing and retarded things happen to me almost every single day and I told her I should submit a story to Seventeen Magazine (my all time fav mag hehe) every month and probably win some prizes cos they'll send you a gift if they think your story is pathetic enough HAHAHA. We also wanna create a 5C11 Book to jot down all things funny that happens in our class which is actually, A LOT :D I'm not kidding man if we started this from the start of the year we would most probably have published it in June teehee yes that's how awesome my class is and gosh I'm already missing them so so much!!! Life in class is never boring without them and people may think we're all oddballs being jumbled up together but I think that's what really makes us such a special and unique class aww lurbes euu all tuu eei maxzxzxz!!! ^.^ (twit fail lmfao)

More about Teacher's Day and SAF Tea Session and Kaiser & Audrey's Wedding another day! (Cos I gotta upload pix onto my flickr first, stupid Facebook no longer has that picture link thing anymore argh so irritating). Hahaha really tired now, didn't manage to catch much sleep cos yesterday's wedding ended really late. Was talking to cousin William online just now rofl it was so amusing man. I swear talking to kids like him make my day :D (Even though they can get pretty annoying) Love my family so so much I'll post pixels next time! When everything seems so black & you just feel like caving in

This is probably me nowadays

This is gonna be a wordy post again so it'll get boring ~

Ever since Term 3 started I've been trying to be a goodgirl94 and study hard but why isn't it reflecting in my grades? K yeah it isn't my 100% yet but at least I've been putting in effort I guess. Been sleeping @ 3AM on average everyday and I think it's starting to take a toll on me, mentally.

I don't know what has gotten into me; Maybe it's cos I'm actually studying now & the stress is making me ... stressed. Or maybe it's cos I've been menstruating for the entire month now. But anyway whatever the reason, I'm really not how I'm like compared to the first 2 terms. I feel so angsty & sensitive every single day, any small thing people say and I'll get all offended already. Everyday when I wake up I'm in such a bad mood that I feel angry at everyone. Any small thing that doesn't go my way immediately spoils my mood and I'll just have this damn black face and start snapping at everyone around me. I'm throwing tantrums at people I love for teeny weeny stuffs. One moment I feel normal again then when I think about promos and the prospect of retaining I get upset with the whole world again. What have become of me??? This isn't me at all man. No matter how bad my days were I still managed to stay happy-go-lucky but now ... :(

I feel so guilty towards my friends and parents. I've been so difficult with everyone recently I feel like such a bitch man. I've been getting pissed off with small, insignificant things and swearing vulgarities like nobody's business everyday. I've become rude to the people I love just because I was in a bad mood and didn't feel like talking. I'm shouting at people more and more. I know to everyone I still seem normal cos my face isn't black 24/7 and I still act like I'm normal but that's just a mask I guess. Somehow I still manage to smile my way through school. I think I've said this already but I will say it again: I'M GETTING PISSED OFF WITH ALMOST EVERYTHING. This is bad, really bad. I didn't used to be like this at all. Okay well was like that when I'm stressed but I guess I was never frequently stressed in the past. I'm so thankful for my dear 11 sharks, they really make my day everyday :') Even though I still get pissed off in class and stuffs but somehow they always manage to cheer me up without even knowing it. I can be in such a bad mood but then one of them will start doing/saying something retarded then I'll just join in and forget about all my troubles for awhile.

On a happier note, TGIF!!! Don't even know how I survived this week, what with the 4 bloody tests and my foul mood. School dismisses at 12.15PM and I only have 1 hour of Econs (Y) Gonna head down to UrbanWrite after that to get my MILDLINER Highlighters, I really like them a lot hehe.

Shall end off with something that I love very much. This has got to be my absolute favorite painting of Vincent Van Gogh, has been since we drew it in primary school :-) Probably one of my hardest artworks ever so until now I still remember this picture haha.

K so this is a totally random post but I've really got stuffs on my mind & I wanna let them out. So it's gonna be a wordy post and yes you can click on the X right about now.

It's all about what 2 of my friends said during our 6/3 Reunion last Monday (Will do a post bout it ... soon) which really made me think. Shall not put their names here cos later they will shy HAHA but anyway, they basically said something like how even though there are cute & pretty girls at their school, they're not really distracted by them and that they have never really liked a girl so much that they wanna jio her out cos they wanna focus on their studies now and mind you it's not because they are ugly freaks who can't get girls k, they're all quite good-looking!! Somehow it really made me think cos all along, I kept thinking that it's a natural thing for guys to like girls, flirt with them, get together, play around y'know that kind of stuff?? But apparently they showed me that there are nice & good guys out there who believe in true love and actually take relationships seriously aww :') So proud of ma boys hehe!

So many stuffs have been happening to me recently and I've got so much mixed feelings bout it! On 1 hand I feel flattered and am loving all the attention these people are showering me with but on the other hand I'm just feeling a teeny weeny bit afraid. I really do not want to just end up wasting my time or get played by somebody ... Maybe it's cos it's been awhile but aiya I just feel kind of confused now hmmm. Somewhere, somehow, I became afraid to love. I even told myself that I'm just gonna play around until I'm older and feel settled. I'm the type of girl who likes adventures & risks, the type of girl who would be willing enough to try something even though she knows about all the risks involved ... But what if trying ends up in me getting hurt? I know my friends are giving me good advice and stuffs but sometimes I just can't help wondering what it would be like if I just hecked care bout everything and plunged into it with no looking back ... Hahaha I think I'm just spouting nonsense now lololol I guess I'll just wait and see how things go by ~

On another note (this is a completely different thing from the above), I'm really feeling afraid now. After the PTM (Yeah I know my post is really lag) ... Let's just say it was a big wake-up call. I've absolutely got no idea what has happened for the past 6 months, everything just seems like it has gone by in a blur ... I guess my life has been too happz this year already man. Too many activies and events. Think it's cos of the new-found freedom my parents lavished on me since the end of EOYs last year, I've been enjoying my life so much so that when Senior High came, no matter how hard I tried I just couldn't put my foot down and really study. Everyone's saying that I lack focus & I've got too many distractions. I KNOW THAT MYSELF Y'KNOW. But it's just so hard to do anything about it, I'm really starting to think I've got ADHD ... I'll be honest and admit that the PTM left me in tears. That was probably the first time I've cried in school since I broke my ankle in RSS when I was P3. I know everybody views me as this happy-go-lucky bimbo, and I guess I can't blame them ... I'm like really a totally different person now from my Primary School days man. In the past I used to have fun with my friends (I wasn't an anti-social nerd k, I was quite popz actually LOL) but somehow in the midst of all that I could still have the motivation and drive to study hard and my grades proved it. But ever since I stepped into DHS I can honestly say that there have been very rare times when I actually studied hard. I don't know what's happening to me, all I know is that I'm not that same girl anymore. I was never called dumb or bimbo or airhead in primary school, in fact I was one of the smarter kids around and I just feel so fucking sad that my DHS friends can't see that smart, hardworking sight of me. I guess it's my own fault that I rarely act that way in school nowadays so yeah I kind of deserve being called bimbo and stuffs. I know people just joke around but it really hurts a lot when people really actually think I'm honestly stupid and dumb :( But stillllll, I find it so painful and unfair and I really wanna prove them wrong and show them the alternate side of me but I really can't do that anymore :( I'm so afraid of retaining and becoming a loser ... I refuse to believe I'm truly stupid, I KNOW I can do it but somehow my actions show that I'm not willing. All I want to do now is to find back that studious drive I had in the past and promote this year ... seriously that's all I'm asking for.

K that's all for now, so sorry for the lack of interesting posts, but I said before right I'm not gonna care about the attractiveness of my posts anymore hahaha I'm gonna use it to pen my feelings down!! Somehow I feel so much better now lololol there'll probably be more of these in the future. Okay well at least until promos are over, then I'll resume with more proper posts heh.

So today I went to East Point after school to fix my specs (the old one, not my baby Gucci) and decided to trim my hair since my fringe's way too long anyway ~

The damn CTs are overrr woots woots! I just know that I'm gonna fail until cannot fail this time man. It has got to really be the worst kind of exams I've ever sat for. Totally did not feel the studying mood @ all and I wasn't even feeling kanchiong for CTs! Didn't even study finish for all the topics gosh that is unforgivable. Of course it didn't help that I took Geog & Econs on the same day and Chem & Math on the same day -.- Asking for trouble man seriously! I really do not want to retain I'm damn bloody scared now I'm gonna work my butt off starting next week for promos I MUST PROMOTE TO YEAR 6 NEXT YEAR!!!

Went to East Point for lunch on Tuesday after Geog & Econs with Natalie :) We spent our lunch break chionging away for Econs CT so we were famished by the time we finished the paper. Had ramen at Men Men Don Don & Berrylite frozen yoghurt afterwards. Managed to buy 3 more pairs of banana socks too! We had a really great time and acted #likeaboss as if our CTs are over already when actually we still had more papers on Wednesday trololol SELF-DENIAL AT IT'S BEST. Missed the talks for Learning Festival yesterday cos I was still taking my damn papers, thnkgod everyone said they were boring = I missed nothing *smirks* The most interesting talk today was THE SEX TALKS ^^ (Surprise surprise) No but really they were very informative and fun at the same time, esp the interaction time in class I love 5C11 to bits and pieces man they're the best class to have sex talks with!! We're all very open with each other man. With them there are no boundaries at all and I can just say whatever I want to say without being afraid of them judging me :D Hehehe best class everrr ~

Will be flying off in approximately ... 23 hours (our flight's a midnight one) and will be back again in the wee hours of Wednesday morning next week! WHICH ALSO MEANS WE'RE GONNA MISS THE FIRST 3 DAYS OF SCHOOL = MISS 1ST 3 PAPERS OF CT HELLYEAHHHH :D Extremely excited & nervous at the same time cos' this time it's with different people and for a different reason: This time we're actually competing overseas!!!

Been quite awhile since I last updated heh. Gosh I really need to update more often manz. Cos' I'm such a lazy girl I won't bother elaborating further lololol

There were a lot of thoughts & feelings that I wanted to say that Wednesday night but I didn't cos' I had to chiong out my PI :( I really don't feel like talking about it anymore cos' ... I'm not in the right mood now y'know what I mean rofl but I shall try to express my thoughts clearly!!

To be honest I was really quite disappointed at first I mean like, Bronze really isn't something that you see often in DHSSB's history. But after calming down and thinking it through, I realize that it really isn't the color of the medal that counts but the effort, friendships and memories that we've all forged in the process that counts. Not giving excuses or anything but given our situation, we really didn't know what to expect.

C'mon man it was only 2 months ago then we decided to join SYF again, (because before that we didn't have French Horns and Mr Ng said it's very difficult to compete without the horns), only 1 month ago that we really started working intensively and we are the smallest band competing of only 32 people. Other bands were all at least thrice our size and we were probably the only incomplete band.

I'm very proud of ourselves, that we decided to go ahead with SYF even though all the odds were against us and of how far we've come!! We improved hell much in just less then 2 months and I'm so proud to say that I'm a part of this happy family! I'm extremely touched by the support Mr Ng, Mr Teo, Miss Soh, Mrs Wong, the alumni and our band juniors gave us, for standing by us throughout and also the band juniors who still look up to us even though we only got a Bronze.

Reading all those posts on DHSSB's Wall on Facebook and all those Notes that bander's wrote really made me tear. I love our Lotus Sutra because it really is very healing! Everytime we play it my heart never fails to swell with joy and emotions. I really hope our next batches of juniors will stay on in the Senior High band to continue our legacy and fighting spirit, to make this racing car of 3 wheels into 4 wheels :-)

军乐队一家人 never meant so much until that day, when I truly felt the meaning behind it! Love DHSSB so so much we really have bonded so closely together!!

Natalie, Roy, Ching Woon, Zoe and Kristal are the best part mates I can ever have we're seriously the awesomest section everrr 8) We're such a crazy bunch I really don't know what would have happened if not for them. There were times when I really felt giving up, when I felt so tired that I wanted to just back out. But it was them who encouraged me to stand back up and to persevere on, and it was them who made this SYF process so much less painful I'm so thankful for all of them!!! :-)

HIIIII I'M FINALLY POSTING AGAIN HAHAHA!

Been wanting to update for a really really long time but I've been such a busy (and lazy) girl heheh. I think it's cos I've got lots of pix to upload and the thought of that really turns me off lol. So I guess you can look forward to more posts in the future but with less pictures :P

In the past, I always updated my posts with pix and didn't really dare to post too personal thoughts cos I know there are quite a number of people reading this space but from now onwards, that shall all change muahahaha. Super nervous but I'm so proud of us Senior High band, considering how many obstacles and difficulties we overcame to reach where we are today I mean like c'mon man we have no bloody french horns!!! Like Mr Teo/Mr Ng said, "Whether it's with 3 wheels or 2 wheels or even 1 wheel, we will still continue on." Or something like that I can't remember the exact line lol. Everytime I hear our Lotus Sutra I'll have goosebumps and my heart will just swell with joy hehe it really is very healing!

HAPPY NEW YEAR! Hellooo 2011 :)

It's kind of heartbreaking that I went to such lengths to revive this site and now it's slipping back into the dead blog state again :X Oh well, I've only got myself to blame for that. Been really wanting to update here but so many things and activities has been happening even I myself can't keep track of time any longer! I've got lots of overdue photos to upload on to the com, on to Facebook, on to Photobucket and on to here!!! Hopefully I'll be able to do that after Orientation ... Hmmm the recent posts are all wordy and boring I know but aiya what to do, when you've got a lazy blogger like me :P Maybe I'll post a recap of 2010 if I've got time ... Shit lah there's seriously so many things that I still want to do but I'm running out of time already :( I'll just slowly take it with a step at a time.

Wasted my entire week watching Playful Kiss over and over again; watching every video around the Net about them like interviews and NGs and stuff oh gawd I hate it when I'm like that. It's like I turn into somebody else completely man. I just keep watching and suddenly it's time to sleep :O Y'know what's so funny about me? Every time I chance upon a TV series or movie that I like right, after that I will just keep Googling stuff about that movie and the actors in it for the next few days, going all gaga over them and then when there's nothing left to know about them, the whole craze dies down and I become me again. The whole experience is so surreal I tell you, sian hahaha. But the funny thing is that nothing gets you hooked on more then K Dramas do man, that's for sure. It was the same thing with Goong last time rofl. I know I always say that I like and only like angmohs and all but gosh have you seen Kim Hyun Joong??? Not really an obssessed K Pop fan like some other people are. As in like I'm okay with the music but English stuffs are still my kind of thing, but stillllll he's absolutely gorgeous hehe I've been dreaming about him this whole week lmao. This is all Qi Qi's fault luh, she was the one who introduced him and the show to me LOL. But I'm sure I'll get over him sooner or later cos' deep down in my heart, Tom Daley's still the only one for me hehe ♥

Anyway, went over to Qin Gang's house yesterday to play and we had so much fun!

Played Mahjong & Monopoly Deal; surfed around his laptop while waiting for the boys to stop playing PS2 and (this is the most fun part) using Winston's account to prank other people :D All in all, I had a great day thanks to these people: Pris Jiayim Winston Qingang & Chengkai :)

Woke up @ 4AM to watch the match and it was totally worth it! Great performance by Liverpool!!! Torres did not play cos' his wife went into labor and Gerrard & Carragher are injured I think so all the big guns didn't play but they still managed to win ain't that good?!? :D Still at the bottom half of the EPL Table though so let's hope they'll win Newcastle on Sunday!!

Went down to Raffles City in the morning to order my Gucci glasses! ^.^

However, my appointment with the optometrist, I have to wait for another 1 - 2 weeks to wear contact lenses cos' the wound from my eye op 2 weeks ago is still there, like a little bit, so it's better not to wear which also means, NO CONTACTS AGAIN :(

Wa sibei sian man why am I the only one who keeps having styes??? I'm sick of it already man, why do I keep having styes this year :( Maybe cos' I never clean my eyes with that solution every day luh but obviously I can't do that right, lazy people like me heheh. Oh well, another week's wait then! D:

Went to Qi Qi's house afterwards in the afternoon for lunch and to help them pack and welcome their new home! Helped her arrange her stuffs in her new room and other stuffs. Their new home's really pretty man! Stayed there till 10+ hehe Cassandra was there too she's such a cutiepie haha we played Monopoly after we're done gosh I was so happy man I love Monopoly!!! (As you may have already known) Can't wait to see them again for the housewarming this Sunday! 8)

I'm finally getting a new pair of specs!!!

BUT. I'm still not sure which one to get! I mean I like the Gucci one very much but my Mum keeps telling me to get the Ray Ban one so that's really making me rethink my decision. So actually when I walked into the shop I totally was not intending to buy any plastic frames, least of all the most cliched black ones. But after trying on all of the metal ones right, somehow all of them just didn't feel right so I just decided to give the plastic ones a go and surprisingly, they looked nice!

Anyway, sorry for the late update ah I've been out all day long for the past ... erh 2 days lol. Went down to Raffles City with Mummy on Friday to go hunt for a nice pair of specs + buy my contact lenses.

Did you know that you're supposed to make an appointment with the shop's optometrist if it's your first time wearing contact lens???

I certainly didn't so poor me didn't get my contacts on Friday :( Funny sia, I've been going on and on about how I'm going to get my contacts soon but nobody bothered to tell me that small little fact! (Or am I supposed to know that already? :O) Oh, y'know right while I was @ Spectacle Hut trying on specs I keep seeing DHS Y5 seniors walking past lol I wonder why all of them were there :0

Then on Saturday, I went out again! Met Si Jia & Wen Xin @ Bishan to watch Bruce Lee, My Brother :)
It was a nice show, the guy acting as Bruce was handsome hehe and overall it was funny and touching. The funny thing is that I never knew how great he was till then haha it's like, I always here "li xiao long li xiao long" but I never really cared lol such a pity he died at 32 :( Went over to Nex after that to check it out and meet Yu Shan there. SI BEI CROWDED SIA WL! I swore never to go back there till the New-Mall-Craze is over -.-Jalan jalan abit, met Yu Long at a shop cos' him and Wang were buying Terence's b'day present together, then after that the 3 of us left for Simei! Parted ways cos' I had to meet my parents @ Eatzi Gourmet for dinner ^^ Then headed down to the NUS Cultural Center to watch the Kevin Kern Concert which was brilliant btw. The guy plays the piano like an angel even though he's blind!

As for today,
Si Jia came over after Aspen to play Xbox with me!!! :D
We played Kinect for like 4 hours straight and we sweat a lot, which equals to burning calories yay! Freaking fun I tell you!
Y'know, it really means a lot to me whenever a friend or my cousin comes to my house to play with me, for some unknown reason. I guess it's the Only-Child-Syndrome?? I may seem as a very outgoing and sociable person, always going around making friends like drinking water like that. But when I'm home, sometimes I just get a little bit lonely. I've always been one step behind people leh: In P1, almost everybody had a Gameboy but I didn't. When my parents were finally comtemplating to buy one for me, the Gameboy craze was over already -.- I was the kind of kid who loves playing board games like Monopoly. I still do actually. But guess when did I get my first board game? P4. Yeah, the time when computer games were oh-so-popular so much so that everybody rather stayed home to play computer. When I was a kid right, every time my parents played board games with me, I felt like the luckiest and happiest kid in the world. I mean like seriously. I'm like probably the only teen now who still likes playing board games. I mean like, almost everybody that I know is sick of it already. You wanna know why? Cos' they all have siblings. And they all got to play this kind of games when they were kids together. But for me? Sometimes, when I really do want to play but nobody was there to play with me, I put my soft toys on the other 3 ends of the board and I pretended they they're playing with me. Pathetic huh? K now I just sound like some autistic kid lol. What I'm trying to say is that, even though my Mummy's students always play with me after their piano lesson, and when I go back to my grandma's house on Sundays I get to play with them too, but playing with daddy and mummy only just made it so much more special, y'know what I mean? And as I grew older, lesser people came to our house to play because of the stupid education system -.- Which means I almost never got to play board games with people anymore. So now every time somebody comes over to my house to play with me I feel truly blessed. Because it feels like I've got a sibling, even if it's just for a day.

Had our first Touch Rugby training yesterday (Did I mention that I got into Touch Rugby??? :D) which was very fun. Miss Yeo or should I say Coach hehe taught us the basics and then we had drills practicing them. We played games related to the stuffs we had learnt and then we played an actual match! Which was a disaster cos' even though I was okay during the drills I totally blanked out during the match rofl. Everything happened so fast and I was like so confused lol but I still had lots of fun yesterday! It's very tiring though but it's okay! Like that I get to exercise more yay ^^

Then today, I went out to City Hall to meet my bby girl Iris for lunch! We ate at New York New York (yummmmmm) then Wen Xin came to meet us there. They were having this meal deal which is totally worth it you guys should go eat there too! So anyway after that we walked to Marina Square to watch Easy A 8) Bloody funny omg GO CATCH IT IF YOU HAVEN'T!!!

Sooo it's been like a year and 5 days since I updated here which is ... terrible, I know.

It's just that Year 4 was tough and since I'm not really the don't-study-also-can-get-A-type, I had to sacrifice some stuffs which included blogging :(

Okay no no no that was like the more pretty side of the story. (Which is true, btw. Just not entirely) Truth is, after I came back from the 3D chalet, I had totally no mood to update here, and then throughout the whole year I've been very very lazy so ... hehe :P

Anyway, since I'm reviving this dead space, I thought to change the whole new layout cos' everybody's telling me they're damn sick of the old one already lol it's been there for like what, 4 years??? So yup that's pretty much sums up my life over the past year lol. Since WEP was like the most recent event I'll talk more about it :D

So 9 of us (we lucky pigs) managed to snag this attachment with Rajah & Tann LLP (a damn big law firm) for 2 weeks how cool is that??? The office is huge and pretty and they have like a mini canteen (only it looks nothing like the school one haha it's much more high class) which is super cool cos' not every company has that.

We had a very meaningful time there because we learnt A LOT. And not just stuffs related to the legal industry, but also a lot of stuffs regarding the working society aka The Real World. I feel like I've grown so much as a person while interning there and I think that it's a very valuable experience that I'll never ever forget! I've gained so much y'know, like friends, knowledge and experience :) We really bonded a lot together over this 2 weeks, and oh we even got to go to the Supreme Court to sit in at the hearings!

Shall not reveal too much about the work we did there cos' they're all confidential, but I know a lot of people think we did like secretarial work lol but that's not true. We got the opportunity to help them with their cases hehe cool to the max!!!

Anyway, I would like to thank my very cute team (my bosses) who taught me so much! They took us out for lunch and I liked it very much cos' we got to really talk to all of you and ask questions (personal ones as well haha) and to get to know you :) Oh and did I mention that we met Miss Neo there?!? She took me, Sarah and Clara out for lunch too hehe! I've missed her so much, I still remember our times in 2D when we used to bully her at first but grew to love her so much. It's only been like 5 days but I'm missing it very very much :( I hope I'll get to intern there again next year! K shit this post have had lots of words omg since when did I type such wordy posts? :0 I've picked out my favorite pictures from my very huge album so I'll leave the pictures to do the talking!

Had band practice on Monday which was great :D
Stock-taking was fun despite all the mess (at least my juniors are enthusiastic helpers hehe so proud of you my dears!) and time with Mr. Ng went well, so i guess the only minus side was drills heh :/ Played through Concerto D'Amore ♥ Extremely beautiful and nice piece hehe we're playing it on Friday again yippee! Blue Shades is however um, not that appealing heh but we'll see how it goes i'm sure it'll be fun with such funny descriptions on the score haha.

Went for lunch with Jing Ren @ Niwa Sushi (Eunos Station) after that, when stupid me realised halfway during the bus trip that i forgot to pass up the Binomial Theorem assignment to Mrs. Tan's locker -.- Managed to keep myself from screaming hysterically on the bus and decided to not panic and have lunch first before heading back to school. Was actually contemplating not passing it up at all, but since i'm helping Sijia & Iris pass up theirs as well there's no choice right?

Now here is the reason for the title:
(Shall type in short sentences not to bore you)
Decided to go back to school via Bus 30 since i came to Eunos on it too.
Walked to the bus-stop and realised that there isn't any bus-stop opposite.
So, walked to the back of the station and found another bus-stop.
Felt relieved. Well that is until i didn't see any "30" signs there.
Jing Ren left on her bus and i was left stranded alone.
Asked some kind people for directions and walked to another bus-stop much further up.
Walked for very long till i finally reached, and guess what it was one short stop before Kembangan station.
Bus-stop was isolated with no one around, but thankgod there was bus 30.
Except it was the going home direction.
Waited around for some kind soul who eventually came along 5 minutes later.
Gave me directions to the correct bus-stop.
Crossed the road. Walked through private estates. Crossed another road. & yet another road.
Which brings me to Telok Kurau Road.
Trees were blocking my view and vertically challenged people like me can't see that far with these trees blocking.
So i just walked and walked and walked.
Until a bus-stop came in sight and i practically ran like a mad woman hoping fervently there was a bus 30.
And there was :)

Somehow it felt like an adventure with all the ups & downs of emotions (and the tired feet).
K that was really embarrassing heheh.

After so much adventure, i decided to be a good girl and pack (or throw) my Year 3 work in preparation for Year 4! Was a big mess but in the end everything was neat and tidy hehe i feel so proud of myself :D
Made a big decision to throw away all Year 1 & 2 work declaring them useless loooook!

On top of that, i've completed the Holiday Homework list & updated the planner that i can't live without hehe. Hoping to fill it with more events :)

Had a yummy dinner yesterday @ Hotel Rendezous with Mummy and her colleague. Food was great (as always) and let's just say i was a weeny bit greedy with the scallops heh. I ate 20+ of them :P But just look at them arn't they deeeelicious!

What can i say? Cafe World & Island Paradise has made me a lazy girl hehe :P Didn't mean to actually. One fine day i was just lazing around on the internet feeling really bored when i suddenly had the desire to try out facebook games so ... go figure. Anyhoo since there hasn't been much life around here, expect this to be a really loooong (& random) post k!

Had Mummy's birthday dinner on Tuesday @ Ah Yat Abalone Restaurant :D
Food was yummy & classy; Shark's Fin & Abalone & Peking Duck etc. hehe since imma nice girl i won't post food pixels here else people will be drooling in front of their coms 8)

Surprisingly the post exam activities were not bad esp. Archery & Cashflow game :)
Was really excited bout Archery since i've never tried it before so my heart was palpitating at like 150beats/minute while waiting for my turn hehe. Lined up @ the 2nd row cos' imma weak girl (lmao!) but switched to the last row with Shu Chuin, Iris & Si Jia cos' we felt great and wanted to try harder things, which was actually easier cos' (for dunnoe what reason) the boys' bow was easier to pull -.- How logical is that lah! + even though all were boys but the line moved fast so yay had lots of fun :D & btw, our instructor was a small boy how cute is that! :P

Cashflow game was really fun (well at least to me luh) since imma big fan of board games 8) Xcept for my foul unluckiness which caused me to miss my paycheck 2 times, kena downsize 2 times, & kena have to buy a boat @ 17k which left my total cashflow to a pathetic $70 :( Didn't manage to get out of the rat race though haha so fail leh whole class only 4 people made it!

Foof Safety Talk was made a whole lot more fun with Oscar the Otter around :D :D :D

Been a relatively happy girl this week because the report book wasn't that bad. I mean i know 2.4 is still really lousy but parents are happy that i did actually try working hard and improving from the 2.13 in the 1st Semester so yup happy parents = happy isabel :)

Anyhoo yours truly was a kiasu peeeg heheh. Brought 1 electronic dictionary & 1 book dictionary for chinese paper 1, & i borrowed another calculator (thanks Bax :D) and set 1 to degree mode and 1 to radian mode and use together hahaha!
So a little review of the monsters:
Chemistry is the only confident paper.
Like seriously it is omg. LA was ok, Geog & Chinese were cmi, Bio & Math 1 & Math 2 was hard (But how can Math 2 be easier!!!) so that sort of sums it up. But what's done has been done & you can't change it so might as well enjoy these 4 days before the results come right heh ;)

So today was a really happy day because it was really productive!

First went for a swim right in the hot afternoon sun from 11.40AM - 12.34PM (54 minutes).
1. Swam 50 laps in 54 minutes which is like a 1 minute improvement from Wednesday's timing woots ^^ (I know it's not that great compared to my timings in P5 but nevertheless i'm happy with it since i haven't swam in ... a month?)
2. Had great tanlines woohoo! ^^

Mumsy sprayed hair-care protection on my hair after i came up and helped me do the hair mask which does wonders to your hair after it's soaked in chlorine for um, 54 minutes. Yay now it's soft and not entangled-dry :)

I thought alot during the swim. Swimming's my bestfriend yo. I always reflect on things when i'm swimming :)
I thought about school, i thought about family, i thought about band, i thought about my social circle, my friends, and i also thought about you. Realised lots of stuffs too. I've got so many emotional things that i want to say but i guess i would better post it somewhere else private. Sorry y'all it's more private so i don't think everyone should know about it.

Short post for today.
It's weird how sucha supposedly beautiful and pleasant can turn out to be so horrible.

(Today's a beautiful day ... ...)

Because it is Day 10 = Ending school one hour earlier then usual :)
There is band and even though it's indoor test, music-making is still fun :)
There is PE, again. (Floorball is getting funner & funner) When we just had it on Wednesday :)
Mr. Shawn Lim came in for math which is fun & entertainment while learning :)
Being unanimously nicknamed "Flip" for some stupid reason by Mr. Lim :)
Audrey is on for Centrestage finals today! :)

Then it was all ruined by a certain natural phenomenom called menstrual cramps :/ Thus,

This (SINGAPORE) The Good Class Bungalow (GCB) market has sprung to life with high-net-worth individuals stepping up their purchases.
July was an especially action-filled month which saw about 20 GCB transactions worth a total of more than $300 million. To put this in perspective, the entire first quarter of this year saw GCB deals worth only $27.5 million.
The action picked up in April, when $56 million worth of GCBs were transacted. It gathered pace in May and June, each month seeing deals amounting to around $188 million. In July, the market went ballistic.
So far this year, around 50 GCB deals have been transacted, according to caveats data compiled by property consultants and information on the latest transactions obtained by BT.
The year-to-date tally of over $800 million is healthy, considering that the whole of last year saw just 51 deals worth $830 million.
GCB agents expect the sales flow to continue in coming months. CB Richard Ellis's director, luxury homes, Douglas Wong said: 'It's likely that a total of 60-65 GCBs will be sold in the whole of 2009 - more than the 51 GCBs sold in 2008. The total quantum is likely to be around $1.1 billion to $1.2 billion, about 35-45 per cent higher than the quantum of $830 million in 2008.'
Savills Singapore director of investment sales & prestige homes Steven Ming says that 'although we do not expect the spike in GCB sales that was seen in May to July to be sustained, we do expect to still see healthy buying activity continue for the rest of the year'. He expects 60-70 transactions for the whole of 2009.
Apart from the general feeling that the worst of the financial crisis is over, he cites the low mortgage and deposit rates as reasons for the GCB market revival.
Agreeing, Newsman Realty managing director KH Tan notes that high-net- worth individuals prefer GCB investments to letting their cash idle in banks. They are also wary of investing in financial products following the Lehman debacle, he said.
'Another group of GCB buyers are foreigners who have become Singapore PRs and PRs who have become citizens,' adds Mr Tan, who recently brokered the $38 million sale of a Cluny Park bungalow.
BT understands the property was sold by former Kim Eng Securities managing director Douglas Ooi to a buyer who also picked up No 3 Cluny Hill earlier this year.
'When the IRs (integrated resorts) are ready, even more rich people from overseas will come to Singapore and become citizens. Some would be interested to invest in the GCB market,' said Mr Tan.
Typically, one has to be a Singapore citizen before one can own a GCB. However, PRs are known to have been given permission by the government on a case-by-case basis to buy small GCBs with land areas of about 15,000 sq ft, depending on their contribution to Singapore, according to Mr Tan.
Major GCB deals in recent months include a site at Dalvey Road said to have been sold by a certain Thomas Chan Ho Lam, for $27.01 million. Interestingly, a person with the same name is also understood to have bought a bungalow at Belmont Road for $30.5 million last month from Ong Kok Thai, managing director of Vanguard Interiors and the Peranakan Place Group.
Meanwhile, GuocoLand chairman Sat Pal Khattar is believed to be the seller of a bungalow at Rochalie Drive, which fetched $18.32 million. BreadTalk founder and chairman George Quek is reported to have sold his 2 Swettenham Road bungalow for $29.2 million to developer Simon Cheong.
The GCB market peaked in 2006 with $1.23 billion of transactions involving 119 deals. The following year saw 87 deals for a total $1.15 billion, according to CBRE figures. In the first seven months of this year, 47 deals totalling $710 million took place, CBRE said.
However, BT has learnt there are about six other transactions not yet captured in caveats, located in places like Belmont and Leedon roads, Maryland Drive and Astrid Hill. If these were to be included, the year-to-date tally would cross $800 million.
GCBs are the creme de la creme of Singapore's housing market, with stringent planning requirements.
There are only about 2,400 such bungalows in Singapore's 39 gazetted GCB Areas.
Mr Tan estimates GCB prices could increase about 20 per cent on average over the next 12 months.
Says Savills' Mr Ming: 'GCBs, being limited in availability, are a highly sought-after investment among the well heeled. As more rich are created, demand for these exclusive bungalows will gradually outstrip available supply for sale.'

and This(SINGAPORE) THEY are wealthy and successful people who can probably afford to buy any home they want, but many of them are being drawn towards good class bungalows (GCBs). There are only 39 designated GCB areas in Singapore and Binjai Park is one of them. However, these areas are not all equal. Douglas Wong, director of luxury homes at CB Richard Ellis says: 'Some GCB locations are more prestigious than others.'

If one is looking for exclusivity, the most expensive GCBs are generally in the Nassim and Lady Hill areas. This is followed by those in the Tanglin vicinity.
"For instance, the current asking price for GCB land in the Nassim area is between $1,500-$2,000 per square foot (psf) whereas in Chestnut Drive, GCBs have been known to have transacted at around $550 psf," says Mr Wong.
There are also pros and cons to buying either an old bungalow or a newly built one. 'Some old GCBs have unique architectural features and come with a rich heritage. Buyers, however, have to be prepared to set aside some money to refurbish and upgrade the building and fit it out with modern conveniences,' says Mr Wong.
New buildings, he says, can be tailored to specific tastes but also be expensive. But what usually pushes up prices is the location.
A martial arts movie star who picked up a GCB at Binjai Park for $19.8 million at around $871.36 psf earlier this year appears to have gotten a good buy.
It was reported that the seller of the house had incurred a loss of $1.2 million on the deal, having bought the property in early 2007 for $21 million, or $924 psf.
William Wong, managing director of RealStar Premier Property Consultant says that the selling price for a newly built GCB will generally be higher than that of an old GCB. 'The choice normally depends on whether the buyer is price sensitive,' he says.
Mr William Wong also points out that a new house might take as long as two years to build although it is more likely to be built to the owner's precise specifications.
If one is looking for exclusivity, the most expensive GCBs are generally in the Nassim and Lady Hill areas, says Mr William Wong. This is followed by those in the Tanglin vicinity such as the Rochalie, Bishopsgate and Chatsworth areas.
On the prices, GCBs in the Tanglin vicinity range from $1,200-$1,400 psf for the top of this category. 'Other popular GCB areas are in the Swettenham, Pierce, Dalvey, Cluny Park areas where prices can range from $1,100-$1,300 psf,' he added.
'1,000 psf is the standard price for an average GCB. Prices have been moving up over the last six months. Now is a good time to buy as there is a huge demand with many permanent residents trying to purchase GCBs of 15,000 sq ft in size,' added Mr William Wong.
Permanent residents are permitted to buy landed property, but only with permission from the government. Foreigners cannot easily buy a GCB or any other landed home here as the government restricts foreign ownership of residential property. However, foreigners who take up Singapore citizenship may buy landed property.
The exception to the restrictions is the gated residential enclave of Sentosa Cove, where ownership rules were eased to allow foreigners who are not permanent residents to buy landed homes or land plots, though permission is still needed.
Apart from some restrictions on ownership, CBRE's Douglas Wong says that one of the common misconceptions when buying a GCB is that some buyers unknowingly pay a premium for a home that actually falls outside the designated GCB areas. 'Some buyers think that as long as a bungalow has a land area of 15,070 sq ft, it is considered a GCB, not knowing there are only 39 designated areas,' he added.
Before buying any home, it is also useful to do some checks. For instance, Mr Douglas Wong says that it is useful for a surveyor to be called in to assess and ascertain the site boundary for issues such as encroachment.
A structural surveyor or engineer can also be engaged to assess the structural integrity of a house, especially if it is an old or conserved bungalow. It is also important to check with the relevant authorities about possible drainage and road reserves as this could affect the the boundary setbacks.
Finally, the terrain, shape of the site and frontage are other physical characteristics that are important, especially if one is going to build a new house.
But with only about 2,400 units of GCBs in the market, almost any GCB would be a rare find.
Donald Han, managing director of Cushman & Wakefield, points out that GCBs represents just 3.5 per cent of total landed housing and a mere one per cent of total private residential stock.
'The majority are owned by the who's who - and are seldom placed for sale in the market. On the contrary, there's an increasing pool of buyers made up of high net worth individuals, GCB collectors as well as permanent residents who are looking to buy GCBs for their own use,' he adds.
GCB buyers are a discerning group of investors who also have a different view on what makes a good investment. 'Yields are not part of the investment criteria - which is typically less than 2 per cent,' said Mr Han.
Instead most see GCBs as a good long-term asset class of investment, 'especially in land-scarce Singapore where land value appreciates over time'.
And Mr Han believes that the outlook for GCBs is also good. 'Generally, GCB prices have fallen by 35 per cent since the peak last year; and with the improved outlook in real estate sector, we expect further price upside in this sector,' he said.

Heh okay i've been like superrr lazy this few months and i know i haven updated for like superrr long already so here's a long post for you! :P
Many things have been going on lately, and many many events :) It would take forever for me to update you on everything luh so we'll just settle with the recents kay!

Tests have been looking up xcept for the horrible math test the other day, that i would fail :( But the rest have been okay. Better results = Happy parents = More freedom ;D Hope i can keep this up! ^^ So far this term i've been working really hard yay :) My dearrr group gives me motivation to work & play!
Also, i'm very grateful that Mr. Ng postponed the indoor test to 14 August, because we'll get 4 days of holiday to practice hard! :D
Oh and btw, because Mummy's very happy with me, she bought me the entire Adobe Creative 4 Suite web premium for $99!!! Student pack mah :) So now i've got Photoshop yay! Imma very happy girl :D

So far there's Mastermind, Hangman, Flip-the-Erasers, 终极密码(with forfeits), Competing who can fold the most number of boxes/aeroplanes/boats etc. with just one piece of A4 size paper, and the launch of our own airlines: A & I air! National Day celeb was yesterday and at first, it was hell boring in the parade square luh, see for 8 years already leh :] But then after that the games in class were quite fun. My group won woohoo! :D Luv y'all hehe: Chu Yang Shu Chuin Isabelle Tricia Shu Lin Jon Hao Nan :) Face-painting was fun hehehe, drew tattoos all over my body after that woots! Si Jia drew a most artistic one on my neck for me, cool man it actually looked like a real one ^^ Next time ask her for more tattoos! Outings with Carissa! :) Had dinner @ Sakae sushi on Tuesday with our mums, but yesterday was our shopping date together @ Bugis yay :D Was really fun shopping with her man, she really shops! :P She spent like, x2 of what i spent leh haha! We bought matching T-shirts & bracelets yay! Met her dad @ Iluma haha so coincidental! So sad that she's going back to the US so soon :( Okay picturez! Tuesday was beauty day hahaha! Had Aspen bio make-up at noon with Sherly Natalie Ada, had lunch with Natalie & Terence, then a lil bit of arcade with Natalie Terence Teresa :D

Then the beauty treatments began lol.
Went over to Century Square's SuperCut for my hair appointment with Cleavan :) I'm missing my semi long hair very much but this short hair is alright. Not showing you any picture i took with my short hair, shall give everybody a shock on Monday hehe 8) Wanted to cut the BOB again but Cleavan said it's not very fashionable now so he recommended the LIMO hee!

I will miss scaring people with my long fringe :(

Anyhoo then we went down to Plaza Sing's Estetica for my facial appointment :)
I know what you're thinking right now ("XZB man so vain go for facial!") BUT! I've got a special reason okay! Apparently mummy had signed on a package with them dunnoe how long ago and there's one more treatment left which expires at end of June. But then sometime ago she signed onto ANOTHER package already so she can't go this last one, so, she let me go instead!
Anyway facials are a big torture of pain but then again, 'BEAUTY COMES WITH A PRICE' doesn't it? Detailed account :P

Facial Procedures:
1. They check your skin condition (I've got a lil bit of oily skin)
2. They check the stability of your skin (I've got many white heads on my forehead and many black heads on my nose)
3. They put your face under warm steam for 5min to soften your white/black heads
4. THIS IS THE PAINFUL MOMENT! They extract out all those white and black heads = PAIN PAIN PAIN :(((
5. They apply something to close the pores of your skin after extracting to prevent inflammation
6. They give you a cold/hot mask
7. Then they give you an oxygen mask which is really ticklish by the way
8. Then it's done!

The end product's really nice though. Now my face is smoooooth without all those tiny pimples on my forehead (white heads). But i'm so not going to another facial ever again man it friggin' hurts!

Woke up @ 9.30AM to my ~~noisy~~pleasant msg tone with a massive load of surprises in my inbox :) Had mee sua + 2 hardboiled eggs for breakfast (don't ask, it's a tradition), bathed, dressed up and rushed out of the house for Clarinets mini outing :D
Met Adal & Brandon @ Tanah Merah who were on their way for Factor & Remainder Theorem make-up class hehehe :)
Original meeting time was 11.30AM @ CityHall and guess what all of us xcept Terence was late hoho :P Had a fulfilling and loud lunch @ New York New York hahaha ROFLMAO 8D I ordered a World Class Caesar Salad and got a great big shock for it's huge quantity :O So after eating we (Terence, Chloe, Natalie, Teresa & me) started playing a game with poker cards i dunnoe what it's called. Anyway, it was brilliantly entertaining HAHAHA: "I am not guai lan!" "Shut Up you old bitch!" "I like to rape ***" "Eye balls so chewy" "I lurbe lurbe yan daos" HAHAHA! Uhh i thinkk you don't relaly get the picture hehe. You've got to think of a 5-syllable phrase as your name (mad examples above) and so everybody starts opening their cards and if they get the same number you ahve to shout each other's 5-syllable phrase name. Guess how noisy and loud it was hahaha! Chloe the ~~retard~~woman screams the loudest lmao it was friggin' hilarious hehehe 8D Whooo had green candyfloss: it's free wor Pohoho! ^^
Deliberated for a looong time @ the entrance of GV as to what movie we should watch and after like eons we decided to go bowling instead haha! (Saw a really really cute eyecandy wor: stop ogling!)
So bowling @ Superbowl i had beginner's luck! :) Then afterwards it was just so depressing grrr: I SUCK @ BOWLING D: (Hi Edwin let's go out sometime and you can teach me how to bowl okay hahaha ^^) Chloe coached me a lil bit then i had a miraculous strike whoooo! 8D Had 2 games then went off to the arcade hehehe! :)
Damn it they didn't have motorcycles :( They're my hot favs! :( So played Daytona first walao i keep getting 4th pfft :O Uhhh tried a few more games and the hot favs of the day were Bishi Bashi and Panic Attack lmao 8) They're both really violent games lol we kept screaming like lunatics the whole arcade only had eyes for us whoo spotlight HAHA! Nearing 6PM Chloe & Nats left for the toilet and took a hell of a time so i called so they told me they were having stomach probs so okay while waiting Tess & Pohoho had a failed attempt trying to winn a big banana for me lol :P Then out of nowhere Chloe & Nats popped out again with a Secret Recipe cake awww so sweeet! ^^ and guess what it was Chocolate Indulgence with Banana my fav hehehe 8D Went there to eat the cakeee yay yumm yumm 8) Roy popped in for awhile.
Then rushed to Dhoby Gaut with Chloe :) Seperated then speed-walked all the way to Hotel Rendevous (Rawn-they-vooooo) to meet Mummy & Daddy for good good dinner @ their Strait's Cafe :D It was goooood i ate lots of fresh mussels + fried fresh scallops + Tenderlion beef + Durian penget hehehe sinful i know :P

My June Holidays so far have been like seriously screwed argh damn it :}
One week dedicated to BAND.
One week dedicated to IDMI.
One week dedicated to Tuition/Other activites/Make-Up classes
One week left for mugging + completing the horrendous amount of Holiday Homework which, for the record, i've only finished half :( Parents have finally set their foor down on all non-academic activities :( In uglier words, i'm GROUNDED till i get that GPA. No going out shopping. No going out for movies. No going out for class/section gatherings. No going out for concerts (i'm working hard for the YCK one!!!).
No more band DDD: (I pleaded and daddy agreed on only mondays and fridays. no morning practices or wednesday SPs :X) I sincerely do not want to quit band i mean like seriously, it has become such a huge integral part of me that i thinkkk i would collapse entirely without it. and fyi people i have no intention of dropping one of my instruments so please stop asking me to do that it really hurts me alot :{ I really really want to give my all for Semester 2 and yes that means being a nerd (fine, trying to be a nerd). That GPA was really a wake-up call for me; never, ever in my entire studying life have i gotten so many Cs DDD: It's hard and it's tough, but i just gotta try right? BUT HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE WHEN THE SCHOOL MAKES US WASTE SO MUCH DAMN FUCKING TIME ON STUPID IDMI WHICH, IN MY OWN OPINION, DOES NOT TEACH US STUDENTS ANYTHING??? wtf manz :}

Short update on today:
Had aspen make -up classes from 12-1.30pm and 2-3.30pm :)
Went to BJ earlier for lunch alone lol and went shopping for June babies presents! Not all done but some progress :) Was erm a lil bit late hehe Audrey & Kee Jin were in there already :P Claire Tze Lin Brandon came shortly after that. Then sobs Natalie the retardo thought the Sports Physiology class so i went alone :( Had a half hour break in between classes and was left alone with the Brandon & Kee Jin who pang-sehed me temporarily to go wait for someone grrr. Nvm had more self shopping time haha. Forgot to bring my water-bottle out again today so i went water-less for approximately 2hours lucky the Brandon & Kee Jin & Adal went to foodcourt to speed eat before their chem class @ 2pm so they bought a bottle of water for me yay thanks :D Sports Physio was really a great experience it made me view Biology with more sparkly eyes :))) Really cool and engaging Mr Chua is a great teacher hehe he and Miss Tay are like dynamic bomb manz both their lessons so funn won't sleep one 8) Hah! Brandon took a look at the notes and was momentarily mesmerised by the awesome beauty of Bio before he saw many chim words which he could not comprehend heheh :P Early dinner with Mummy afterwards then Hannah Montana Movie! 8D It's really great and niceee must watch the songs are so beautiful ^^ Lucas Till and Miley Cyrus look so good tgt they should just get married and make some awesome babies hahaha 8) Okay i'm officially in love again i'm adding him to my list so now it's:

So there was Speech Day today and it was a success so yay! :D Met choir in the canteen after we were dismissed and they just started haha! Lent Audrey my tie cos' she forgot to bring hers, then went to vball awhile with Chloe Becca Emily Jill :D Was friggin' funny lmao hahaha! Then went off to Iluma with the Chloe dearest for lunch ^^ (Supposed to be a foodclub outing then only the 2 of us can go lol) I shall do a mini advert for Iluma ;)

Tsktsk Iris Sushi Si Jia are calling me monkey now LOL. Ahhh was super embarrassing today during recess :]

So we didn't go for recess, and i brought a banana to school so i started eating, then apparently i was eating it with Clara's choco cake andd then suddenly they say i look like monkey lmao! Anyway, on our way to the toilet i was still blatantly eating my banana on the corridor while walking past 3E, F and G. Then as we got nearer to 3G Yu Shan & Chu Yang came from the opposite direction so we (okay fine, I) got excited and started waving like mad and as they approached closer i started complaining: "Ehh they say i eat banana look like a monkey!!!" Shan was like making wild gestures telling me to shut up cos' apparently i talked too loudly then the whole class saw me eating my banana LOL walao damn paiseh!!! :/ And then while walking back to our class, when we were near 3E then somehow i started talking loudly again, and Mr Han was like: "Yi Ling is that your good friend? Both no volume control one" wth LMAO!!! X) tsk heard their whole class laughing too LOL.

Anyway, Geog test was screwed i dunnoe if i can pass :/ Sobs :( Recieved back Chem test and ahhh had a friggin' 10/20 wth, i counted and i've got 4marks which i lost due to carelessness aw manz :( LA was fun, watched so many vids yay i wish every lesson was like this :P

Yay we progressed further into Carmen today, entered movement 3 and they sound niceeee! :) Oh man i can't wait to here the whole suite! ^^

Stupid Math Test on Friday D: I've got a sinking feeling that i'm gonna fail it again, but somehow a part of me just wants to pass it. & i mean it. Badly.

Aspen tuition today was hilarious, as usual :) Had a mini "Solubility of Salts" test for chem, and tsktsk Isaac marked mine and he gave me a sarcastic "V. Gd + Star" on my paper LOL, i only wrote half of the table HEH :P Went shopping for something with Audrey Jian Ming Isaac, (coughcough) who ah, waste time pull us into the first store to find a certain sick thing ah tsk LOL :]

Wth there's Geog Data Response test tomorrow and i don't know what to study :((( Even though Miss Pear sent a powerpoint thing, but i have a sinking feeling that i'm gonna fail it :X Somehow or rather, i'm understanding geog better now but i haven reached the passable level yet :/
